“For two or three years, Milan haven’t been Milan,” Mihajlovic told the supporters.
“We’re convinced that we’ll be among the contenders this season. We have to do better in the next few matches, and I’m sure we’ll make up for things in the derby.”

Club captain Riccardo Montolivo also adressed the crowd, and reiterated that the Rossoneri must get back to being Scudetto contenders.
“We want to bring Milan back to where the club deserves to be,” the Italian international said.
“I’m sure we’ll fight for the top places this year. We’re building something important.
“We are indebted to the fans, you have my word that we’ll give everything on the pitch to fight for the top places.”
