Sinisa Mihajlovic admits Torino will be powerless to stop Andrea Belotti leaving if a club bids €100m for his services.
The Granata forward is the subject of interest from leading clubs around Europe but has a clause inserted into his contract that means only an astronomical offer will oblige Toro to do business.
Ahead of his team's Serie A match with Lazio, Mihajlovic said that while he would do all he can to ensure the 23-year-old remains at the Stadio Olimpico, the decision may not lie in his or even President Urbano Cairo's hands.

Ahead of his team's Serie A match with Lazio, Mihajlovic said that while he would do all he can to ensure the 23-year-old remains at the Stadio Olimpico, the decision may not lie in his or even President Urbano Cairo's hands.
"I remind him not to forget about where he has come from," the Serbian Coach told reporters. "He needs to stay humble and continue to work well.
"If a team puts €100m on the table, there is not much the President can do even though it also depends on the player. Torino will do all they can to keep him, we will see."
The tactician then discussed tomorrow's match, which sees mid-table Toro travel to Rome to take on the Champions League-chasing Biancocelesti.
"We are facing one of the League's most in-form teams, a Champions League team. I want to congratulate Inzaghi, he has built a great group.
"It will be a difficult match, this season we have struggled away from home and Lazio aren't the best opponents for us to turn it around. We will try to give them problems."
With seemingly little to play for, Miha was asked about his team's targets for the remainder of the season.
"They are the same as last week, to get our record number of points in Serie A. Every player needs to find motivation within themselves for every single match.
"Against Lazio everyone will be concentrated, we know that if we play at 60 per cent we always run the risk of losing.
"We have changed a lot, in my opinion this is one of Torino's best seasons."
