Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic said Bologna are missing a centre-forward but vowed to ‘arrive ready’ for the first match against Milan at San Siro.

After a goalless draw against Virtus Entella on Saturday, the coach didn’t focus on the result, but on the aspects in need of improvement at Bologna.

“The goal of these matches is not the result but to put the team in order,” Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia.

“I know we can do better, but there are eight days left for Milan and we will arrive ready.

“During the training camp, the lads and the staff worked very well, now we are going to improve the aspects that aren’t going well.

“I’m pleased we didn’t concede in these two friendlies, that’s one of the targets this season.”

The Rossoblu tactician pointed out that he needs a new forward ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

“In attack we lack a centre-forward, we hope to get a prospect and a motivated player, who can develop with us. I have faith in the club.”
