Fabrizio Miccoli is in no rush to discuss a new contract at Palermo following his hat-trick at Inter in midweek.

The pint-sized attacker is tied to the Rosanero until June 2013, but he’s calm about his future at the Stadio Barbera.

“I still have a year left on my contract and then we’ll see,” he stated on Friday afternoon. “It’s not a problem for me.

“Let us wait until next year. There really is nothing to worry about as I have a good relationship with the President.

“The priority is Palermo. If things change then we will decide together what to do next.”

Miccoli, 32, joined the Sicilian giants in 2007 after two seasons in Portugal with Benfica.
