The attacking midfielder joined Lazio in 2015 and has two more years left on his contract with the Aquile but has played just four times in Serie A.

Prior to that, the 24-year-old had been regarded as one of Manchester United’s most promising youngsters and spent time in the Premier League with West Ham United.

Morrison would also reacquaint himself with old Roma rival Juan Iturbe, who recently joined Club Tijuana Xolos.
