Cristiano Ronaldo seems set to stay at Juventus, as Lionel Messi is reportedly close to joining Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG were thought to be the only club who could potentially lure Ronaldo away from the Allianz Stadium this summer, but Nasser Al Khelaifi seems set to go for Messi, who will not renew his deal in Catalonia.

Tuttosport reports Ronaldo’s farewell has now been reduced to a minimum, explaining the signing of Kaio Jorge for the future and the confident words of Federico Cherubini, Pavel Nedved and Massimiliano Allegri were all signs of being set to continue with the Portugal captain.

Kaio Jorge now occupies the only place of a non-EU member in the Juventus squad and the search for a replacement will thus be more difficult.

The newspaper believes the uncertainty that was left has now been wiped away by PSG exploiting their economic strength on Messi.

Reports in Italy have said Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus this summer, but the EURO 2020 Golden Boot winner’s future seems to still be in Turin.
