Leo Messi is out for two months with a knee ligament injury, so he’ll miss the Champions League clash with Roma.

The Argentine limped off during today’s 2-1 win over Las Palmas.

He went to hospital for tests and was diagnosed with a torn knee ligament.

Barcelona released a statement confirming Messi will be out of action for approximately seven or eight weeks.

That practically rules him out of the Champions League encounter with Roma at Camp Nou, which is set for November 24.
