Juventus and some of their current and former stars, including Alvaro Morata, Paulo Dybala and Miralem Pjanic were among those sending messages of condolence after Cristiano Ronaldo announced his baby boy had died.

The former Juventus striker was expecting twins with partner Georgina Rodriguez, but while the baby girl survived, her little brother did not.

They confirmed the news with a statement via Instagram, which received numerous messages of condolence.

Those included his ex-Juve teammates Morata, Dybala and Pjanic, plus former clubs Real Madrid and Sporting CP, as well as his current employers Manchester United.

Juventus commented on Ronaldo’s Instagram post, writing: “Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Georgina and the whole family during this time.”

Some of Cristiano’s former teammates in Turin, such as Paulo Dybala, Blaise Matuidi, Miralem Pjanic and Alvaro Morata commented on his social media post while Lapo Elkann, cousin of Juventus President Andrea Agnelli wrote a message on Twitter for the former Bianconeri star.
