Milan could sign one of Alex Meret or Salvatore Sirigu should Gianluigi Donnarumma leave the club at the end of the season.

Donnarumma’s current deal with the Rossoneri expires next summer, and it isn’t certain that the stopper will stay with his boyhood club.

That is because Donnarumma’s agent, Mino Raiola, has been sceptical about the Milan project and has been at times critical of the Elliott Management group who own the club.

Tuttosport states that should Donnarumma leave Milan this summer, then the Rossoneri would turn to one of Sirigu or Meret.

Meret was bought by Napoli for around €35m a couple of summers ago from Udinese, however since Rino Gattuso has took control of the Partenopei bench, Meret has found himself dropped in favour of David Ospina.

Sirigu meanwhile has been at Torino since 2017, but is believed to want one last chance at a major club before retiring.
