The agent of Inter's Felipe Melo says he’ll ‘definitely become one of Serie A’s best midfielders.’
The Brazilian arrived at the Nerazzurri this summer and impressed in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Milan, but agent Jose Rodriguez warns he’s still weeks from full fitness.
“Felipe played very well and I’m very happy about this,” Rodriguez told FCInterNews.
“I must say that he’s still not in peak physical condition, but despite that he made his presence felt.

“He’ll need at least three weeks, maybe a month, to reach his best condition. No more than that. His pre-season was strange and there were difficult moments, his mind was already at Inter.
“I’m sure that he’ll do very well with Inter, he’ll definitely become one of the best midfielders in Serie A.
“He has very strong character and is definitely a great signing for Inter. His mentality will give a lot to the team, along with his energy and desire to win. Felipe’s dream is to win the Scudetto.”
