Felipe Melo says Inter are 'the favourites in all competitions' and agrees he's a tough player: 'This is my strength.'
The former Fiorentina and Juventus midfielder joined Inter from Galatasaray, returning to Serie A after four years away.
“I wasn't afraid of missing out on Inter, the doors that God opens are never closed,” he told the Press at his official presentation.
“I was calm and I was waiting for the opportunity.

“It doesn't bother me that people call me a rough player. This is what I am, this is my strength."
The 32-year-old was asked what kind of team he found under Roberto Mancini.
“I find an Inter that is full of drive, looking to win. When I was here in Italy they used to win all the time, it's good to return to a team that is used to victory.
“I think I can lend a hand to the team. I think Inter are always the favourites in any competition, but we'll see what we can do.
“Inter are a great team and they must always think of winning.
“With Galatasaray I made history and I want to repeat myself here.
“My state of form? I'm a little bit behind compared to Alex [Telles], I came back 20 days after he did.
“I'm still missing something, but I'll be ready in time for the derby."
Finally, Melo returned to the subject of his reputation as a rough player.
“Journalists should first mention that Felipe last year was never sent off.
“The past is something else, a person learns over time. I get better every season. and I'm no longer the same person I was ten years ago.
“There are always going to be some yellow cards, I play in the midfield and if I have to intercept a player I do so without second thoughts.”
