The FIGC disciplinary commission has suspended Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo following his red card against Parma on Thursday.

The Brazil international lashed out after he felt Parma's Massimo Paci was too aggressive in a challenge midway through the first half.

Melo raised his boot and kicked Paci in the face while the two players were sat on the floor, earning a straight red, which left Juventus between a rock and a hard place.

The Turin giants had already lost Fabio Quagliarella to a season-ending injury and would suffer a heavy 4-1 defeat.
