Felipe Melo underlines that he didn’t leave Galatasaray for money: “Inter pay me less than half of what I earned before.”
The midfielder discussed his departure from Turkey after four years in Istanbul with Trtspo, saying that he wanted ‘a new challenge.’
He also strongly denied the suggestion that he was more interested in money by choosing the Nerazzurri.
“I think it was the end of a cycle,” said Melo.

“I think it was the end of a cycle,” said Melo.
“When I arrived at Galatasaray I said I wanted to write history by winning trophies and titles.
“That happened, we won a lot and therefore that cycle finished in the best possible way.
"It's an absolute lie that I left for money. At Inter I’m earning less than half of what I had in Turkey.
“I’ve already said that I left Istanbul because I was looking for another challenge, but with Galatasaray always in my heart.”
