Soualiho Meite is reportedly on the verge of completing a move from Torino to Benfica.
The 27-year-old spent the last six months on loan at Milan, but the Rossoneri opted against signing the midfielder on a permanent deal this summer.
The Frenchman thus returned to Torino, where his contract expires in June 2023.
Record reports Benfica are close to completing a deal for the former Monaco player, offering close to €7m for his services.
The Portuguese giants, who recently signed Joao Mario on a free transfer after the former Sporting CP midfielder terminated his deal with Inter, have prepared a contract worth between €4m and €5m for Meite, according to the report.
Meite played 21 competitive games with the Rossoneri last term and is set to leave Torino after 94 appearances for the Granata.
