The takeover was confirmed by MediaPro, noting that 53 per cent of the company had been picked up by the new majority shareholders.
The cost of the operation, which includes their parent company Imagina Media Audiovisual, is worth €1.9m.”
Italian pay-per-view television companies Sky Sport Italia and Mediaset Premium will have to negotiate with MediaPro to get the rights for live matches.
