Il Corriere dello Sport claims Calhanoglu showed ‘signs of relaunching’ already against Manchester United in the Europa League and that ‘he eventually became decisive in Florence’.

“His strike keeps Milan in the Scudetto battle. The fourth against Fiorentina, his favourite victim,” the newspaper wrote.

La Gazzetta dello Sport gives him the award for the ‘beautiful and decisive goal’, but ‘also because he was the mechanism that has been missing the most for coach Stefano Pioli’.
