Italian media hails Simone Inzaghi for his ‘tactics and play’ after another impressive performance from Scudetto contenders Inter, who smashed Roma 3-0 on Saturday.

The Nerazzurri returned to Milan with a 3-0 win over Jose Mourinho’s men and Inzaghi has been praised by the newspapers in Italy, who highlight his rewarding work to replace Antonio Conte.

Inzaghi joined Inter to replace the former Italy CT and has done a great job since moving from Lazio.

The new coach has already bettered both Luciano Spalletti and Conte’s records in the Champions League with Inter and has proven the side are still candidates to win another Scudetto, despite the farewells of Conte, Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku over the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport ‘reward the management of the gam’ after Inter’s impressive performance at the Olumpico and ‘above all the work to refine Conte’s Inter’.

Il Corriere dello Sport writes Inzaghi ‘deserved to win by technical knockout after 24 minutes’, while Tuttosport claims the Nerazzurri warned their rivals with a ‘signal of Inter’s Scudetto ambitions’ on Saturday.
