The Turin-based papers reports Eriksen completed 100 succesfull passes out of 111, he recovered the ball possession nine times and had two shots on target creating just as many goal scoring opportunities.
However, the number of balls lost, 22, is still high, according to the paper.
Eriksen is rated 7 by both La Gazzetta and Tuttosport.
“He enlightened San Siro showing how to kick the ball. He inspired his teammates, hit the woodwork once and was committed in the defensive phase,” wrote the Turin-based paper.
According to La Gazzetta, Eriksen created many opportunities and was the MOTM in the game along with Nicolò Barella, but the Dane was given “too much freedom” by Benevento midfielders.
