Darmian “gave balance and assisted Roberto Gagliardini for Inter’s third goal,” writes Il Corriere dello Sport while Lautaro Martinez “drove Sassuolo mad,” reports La Gazzetta.
Antonio Conte is also being praised by Italian papers.
"His decision to play Nicolò Barella in front of the defence turns out being a decisive one.
"The Italian midfielder was used in the same position where N'Golo Kante used to play at Chelsea under the Italian tactician," writes Il Corriere dello Sport.
The worst player on the pitch was former Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches who is rated 4 by each three of the main Italian sports papers. The Romanian made a decisive mistake for Inter’s opener and scored an own goal to double the Nerazzurri’s lead in the first half.
