Gary Medel claims ‘confusion’ was behind his failed spell at Inter and that the club were ‘better under an Italian owner like Massimo Moratti’.

Medel made over 100 appearances for Inter between 2014 and 2017 but left for Besiktas without any silverware and played under two owners, as well as four permanent Coaches.

“I gave my soul to Inter, it’s a shame that I didn’t win anything,” the defender-midfielder told Gazzetta dello Sport.
