The injury concerns continue to stack up for Juventus, as Weston McKennie also did not train on Monday ahead of the trip to the UK to face Aston Villa in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

McKennie adds to growing Juventus injury list

Juventus are without several first team players, including leading goalscorer Dusan Vlahovic, who picked up a minor muscular injury while away on international duty with Serbia. Vlahovic also missed the 0-0 draw with Milan in Serie A over the weekend, while McKennie and Teun Koopmeiners stood in as emergency false nines.

Also on Juve’s injury list are defenders Bremer and Juan Cabal, both out with cruciate ligament (ACL) tears. Nico Gonzalez and Douglas Luiz are also out, while Arkadiusz Milik is expected back in December or January after a lengthy lay-off.

It remains to be seen whether McKennie is fit enough to train on Tuesday. Juventus will have one more session in Turin before jetting off for the Midlands on Tuesday evening.
