Denis Zakaria is the latest Juventus player to sustain an injury and Massimiliano Allegri must do without 11 men for the next few games. Here’s how the Juventus injured XI would line up.

The Old Lady travelled to Empoli without Giorgio Chiellini, Daniele Rugani, Paulo Dybala, Weston McKennie, Alex Sandro, Federico Chiesa and Kaio Jorge.

The last two have sustained knee injuries and have been ruled out of action until the end of the season. Zakaria was forced off the pitch at the Stadio Castellani and will remain on the treatment table for circa 20 days.

McKennie will miss the next two months of action after a compound fracture of the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones of his left foot suffered in a Champions League clash against Villarreal last week.

Chiellini, Dybala, Rugani and Alex Sandro are dealing with muscle injuries and will likely miss tomorrow’s Coppa Italia clash against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. Federico Bernardeschi is also injured and so are Koni de Winter and Mattia Del Favero, two U23 players who have often joined the senior team to train at Continassa.

De Winter, 19, made his debut under Allegri in November 2021. He has played two games with Juventus’ senior team. Both in the Champions League.

Juventus injured XI (4-3-3): Del Favero; De Winter, Chiellini, Rugani, Alex Sandro; Zakaria, McKennie, Bernardeschi; Dybala, Kaio Jorge, Chiesa.
