Multiple reports in Italy claim Weston McKennie is unwilling to leave Juventus for Bournemouth or Aston Villa, so the Bianconeri are lacking financial resources to operate in the January transfer window.
The UMNT international has played regularly under Massimiliano Allegri this season, but the Bianconeri are open to selling the ex-Schalke midfielder considering the development of Nicolò Fagioli and Fabio Miretti and Paul Pogba’s imminent return to action.
Il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport claim the Old Lady want at least €30m to sell the American midfielder, but the only two clubs who approached the Bianconeri over the last few weeks are Premier League sides Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
McKennie doesn’t want to leave Juventus for any of these two clubs and would only consider offers from top Premier League sides or Borussia Dortmund.
Juventus still haven’t received any official offer for the 24-year-old but need a sale in January to bring in reinforcements, especially a new full-back.
Let him play full back if he doesn’t want to go.
we have aplayer starting in our xi, who can only get linked to 2 really poor teams, sums up how good he was
Sit him on the bench for the rest of the season – Fagioli and Miretti should be playing before him anyway. Also, he looks overweight this season.
Why aren’t the directors indicating to Allegri to stop playing him? Chap is useless.
