Kylian Mbappe is expected to make his debut for Real Madrid in their upcoming UEFA Super Cup clash with Atalanta following a meeting with the club’s doctors.

The 25-year-old French star was officially unveiled by Los Blancos on Tuesday, having signed a lucrative five-year deal with the Spanish giants after his contract expired with Paris Saint-Germain. At his press conference, he suggested he’d like to play in the Super Cup match if available.

At the recent European Championship in Germany, Mbappe suffered a painful nose injury that forced him to wear a mask for a number of matches, leading to some fears that his Real Madrid debut could be delayed should he need an operation.
