Paolo Mazzoleni has been assigned Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg between Milan and Lazio.
Mazzoleni caught controversy earlier in the season for sending off Kalidou Koulibaly during Napoli’s 1-0 defeat to Inter on Boxing Day, despite the defender being racially abused.
He was also the referee that showed red to Gonzalo Higuain when Milan lost 2-0 to Juventus back in November.
Atalanta–Fiorentina, meanwhile, will be officiated by Gianpaolo Calvarese a day later.
