“It’s not yet decisive for the Scudetto, as there’s half a season still to go, but it will be an important test for both teams and a fascinating game,” Mazzola told ilsussidiario.net.
“I expect Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Lautaro Martinez to be decisive in this game, as they are both coming back from suspension and eager to make a difference.
“Inter are having a remarkable campaign, well beyond expectations. They always play to the max and were able to come back from 2-0 down to win the derby 4-2. They have such grit and character.”
Mazzola reserved particular praise for former Manchester United hitman Lukaku, who has 17 goals in his first 23 Serie A games.
“He really was a smart signing, a striker who scores goals, participates in the team moves and is also a real leader. I’d say he is very impressive.
“This is a champion and would’ve played in my Grande Inter of the 1960s.”
