“I’m still very tired,” reflected the Coach, speaking to Sky. “I hope to rest this afternoon, last night we spent so much [energy].
“I want to thank our fans, they have helped us towards this major achievement.
“To play in the final will be awesome, I have already had this experience with Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”5″>Sampdoria, it is something unique.
“Antonio Conte reminds me of my early years as a Coach. They said that a Coach that was so fiery on the bench could not be suited to a big club. We have shown the opposite.”
In light of the effort it took to reach the final to face Conte, Mazzarri believes Catania and their Coach Vincenzo Montella will prove a test for his team this weekend.
“[Montella] is very good, I had him as a player and you could tell then that he had what it took to pursue this career. I would have wanted him in my staff.
“Against Catania it will not be easy, they will have a huge advantage. We are tired and this worries me very much
“Third place? We will give it our all and see where we finish in the end.”
