Walter Mazzarri is happy to be back but believes his Cagliari side could have beaten Lazio.
The Tuscan tactician marked his return to the bench with a 2-2 draw against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
Mazzarri was hired to replace Leonardo Semplici, who had been sacked earlier this week.

“Praise to the guys because I’ve tormented them these days. they showed great availability and I am happy because they’ve already understood that I’m never satisfied,” Mazzarri told DAZN.
“We created more than them in the first half, conceding almost nothing. It’s a shame we only picked up a draw.
“I wanted to score the third goal, we could attack, be got scared and we sat too deep,” the coach continued.
“I am happy to be back, I waited for the right moment. I studied and I returned.
“I focused on the technical aspects. Now I am super motivated, almost as it was my first experience as a coach.”
