Walter Mazzarri believes the Scudetto “will be decided on the final day” and explains the secret to Napoli's success.

Ahead of the Derby della Madonnina next Saturday, Milan are two points clear of Inter and three of Napoli.

“We are satisfied with the amazing growth of the side in these last few months,” said the Coach on Radio Marte.

“Our strength is that we don't look at the table, so that way we can concentrate on every game the same way. There are still eight Finals left and we must interpret them all identically.

“When analysing the resources and what has been achieved, it has to be said that Napoli and Udinese have had a stunning campaign.

“I believe that the Scudetto will be decided on the final day and we will be there fighting for it to the end,” continued Mazzarri.

“None of us have ever been in this situation before. My job is not to put too much pressure on the lads, as that could be counter-productive. There are 24 points up for grabs and anything can still happen.”

Much has been said about the ‘three tenors' in attack, Marek Hamsik, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani.

“Napoli are a mosaic who play as a team unit and slot together. The front three may finalise the chances and are most representative, but it is thanks to those behind them that they can do that.

“If we'd brought in a fourth ‘tenor' then perhaps the team would be in 10th place right now. Harmony is crucial and it gets the best out of the players.”
