The Ducali have never come out empty handed in seven games on the spin and speaking on Halloween, Inter’s Coach is hoping for treats and not tricks for his men tomorrow.

“I don’t expect any tricks in Parma, but there must only be respect for the opponents,” Mazzarri began in his Press conference today.

“I agree that Parma have collected fewer points than they would have deserved. They are a good team, when you face someone at their ground it is tough.

“But I am confident about the team’s strength and that we’ll keep doing what we have done in the last three games.

“We must improve our mentality, start with the right approach, do very well in defence and express some good football.

“We are aware of Antonio Cassano’s qualities and we know his value well, but we are Inter and we must think like Inter.

“If we’ll do things well, we’ll achieve the result we want.”

Despite gathering seven points in their last three games, Inter fans keep expressing their frustration towards their team’s attitude, but Mazzarri prefers to walk on.

“I don’t count the whistles, but I only focus on the team and I am worried that external things don’t affect my players.

“This is a democracy and everyone can do what they want, but we are professionals and we must give everything for these colours.

“To be honest, I wouldn’t even talk about the issue anymore, because it’s not my task to talk about this.”

Champions League qualification seems within reach at this stage, but Mazzarri says that they must achieve consistency first.

“We always try to improve and the alternation of results is due to not having the same approach in different games.

“We must strive for consistency and then for results. If you lose two games on the spin, then the position in the table will suffer, but we didn’t look at it and we don’t look at in now. We only have to face Parma and then Saint Etienne.”

Finally, Mazzarri has also revealed what was behind Inter’s comeback in the last three games.

“After the defeat in Florence, there was the international break and some players could do some work, especially Hernanes.

“Then in hard times, the boys have showed that they can be united and confident, and they have worked well.

“We knew we had the qualities to bounce back and we were all confident that we could address things. Then the episodes have gone our way too.”
