Walter Mazzarri urges his Cagliari side to move on and ‘focus on the next game’ after their 3-0 loss against Fiorentina.

The Sardinians suffered a 3-0 defeat at the Artemio Franchi.

“I can’t complain about absentees but it’s never easy when you are forced to make substitutions,” Mazzarri told DAZN referring to Martin Caceres’ injury in the first half.

“We are a bit vulnerable, but we played well until their penalty kick.

“Nobody seemed to have noticed the penalty, it took our certainties away. I tried to speak to the guys during the break, but Fiorentina’s third goal would have killed anybody.

“Now we need to focus on the next game.”

The Sardinians sit 19th in the Serie A table with six points in nine games.

They host José Mourinho’s Roma in the next Serie A match on Wednesday.
