Maxime Lopez confirms he will complete a permanent move to Sassuolo: ‘I will stay here for four more seasons.’
The French midfielder joined the Neroverdi from Marseille on a loan deal with an option to buy last summer.
His move to the Stadio Mapei will become permanent after his next Serie A appearance of at least 30 minutes.
“I am happy at Sassuolo, I am finally playing consistently and I can say I will remain here for the next four seasons,” the 23-year-old told L’Equipe.

“I am happy at Sassuolo, I am finally playing consistently and I can say I will remain here for the next four seasons,” the 23-year-old told L’Equipe.
“I wanted to leave Marseille because I was not got getting regular game time. Sassuolo’s offer came out from nowhere and I was happy to receive it.
“I am having fun, I like Italy. We work a lot on tactics and we usually don’t adapt to our opponents, but we play every game following our ideas and principles."
The 23-year-old played 22 games across all competitions with Sassuolo and scored his first and only Serie A goal against Napoli in November.
