Jose Mauri says he’s ‘very happy’ after completing a transfer to Milan this afternoon.

The 19-year-old was a free agent following the collapse of Parma, and officially completed his move to the Rossoneri today.

“I feel very good,” Mauri told Milan Channel.

“I’m very happy and eager to play. There’s definitely some satisfaction, although it’s not complete, because I’m only wearing a training top.

“I feel very good,” Mauri told Milan Channel.

“I’m very happy and eager to play. There’s definitely some satisfaction, although it’s not complete, because I’m only wearing a training top.

“When I wear the real one I’ll tell you what thrill I feel. I’m expecting hard training sessions, I spoke with Gabri [Paletta], and he confirmed that the training isn’t easy.

“I spoke to him in January, he’s a friend, and he spoke very well of Milan.”

Mauri also admitted that he may not be a starter right away, while discussing his midfield role models.

“It’s right for me to grow, and if Milan are to return to being great it will need everyone’s work. I want to do my part, and I can’t wait.

“I want to play, and help bring Milan back to the top.

“My role models? I’ve always said [Javier] Mascherano, and then [Gennaro] Gattuso. I hope I can win even half of what he won with Milan.”
