Chief medic Roberto Bianchini told Lazio Style Radio that Mauri woke up with “a swollen toe” after yesterday’s 3-0 win over Sassuolo.

The initial tests showed a dislocated fifth toe, but more examination is needed tomorrow to see the extent of the damage.

Goalkeeper Marchetti was spotted on crutches leaving the Mapei Stadium yesterday after a knock to the foot.

No fractures were found in X-rays, but again more tests are required tomorrow.
