Lazio were fined €40,000 due to indirect responsibility for the behaviour of their player.
The Federal Court of Appeal will convene in Rome on Friday at the NH Hotel to hear the cases put forth by Mauri, Stefano Ferrario (six-month ban) and Mario Cassano (four-month ban).
The Court of Appeal will also consider a motion from the Prosecutor Stefano Palazzi, who wants the players convicted of his original requested charge of sporting fraud.
This would give Mauri a ban for four years and six months with Lazio docked points.
Palazzi is also appealing against the fact Francesco Benassi, Omar Milanetto, Antonio Rosati and Alessandro Zamperini were cleared in the original trial.
