The capture of Borriello will increase competition for places in attack at the club, with Matri and Borriello seemingly set to go head-to-head for the central striker role in Antonio Conte’s 4-3-3.
“I’m not worried,” Matri, who is Juve’s joint top scorer in the League with Claudio Marchisio, told Sky Sport Italia.
“We now have an extra attacker, a reinforcement that will allow us to get to the end of the season in good shape.
“There are five or six of us in attack, like all the great teams. I want to play, but it is obviously the Coach who will have his say. Conte will decide.
“We are all at his disposal and I, like everyone else, want to play a part.”
Juve are currently joint top of the table, along with Milan, and will visit Lecce on Sunday. Borriello is a doubt though as he has a small muscle injury that he is trying to recover from.
