Lazio striker Alessandro Matri will not be fit for the weekend trip to Verona, the club confirms.
The forward was surprisingly not named in the squad to face Genoa, with it later being revealed he is suffering from fatigue of the thigh muscles.
“Work continues for Miroslav Klose, Alessandro Matri and Antonio Candreva, but they will not travel to Verona,” club doctor Stefano Salvatori revealed, speaking to Lazio Style Radio.

There was also good news for the Biancocelesti, with Salvatori confirming that Lucas Biglia will be available for the weekend’s game.
