“What are we missing?” Matri considered in the Press conference ahead of the Europa League game with Dnipro.
“Maybe a bit of confidence and self-belief, that’s normal after negative results.
“Is the Europa League a lifeline? It seems early for that, as the Coach has said the situation is bad, but not as bad as it’s been painted.
“The early season targets aren’t too far away. The favourites are hurting too, we still have the opportunity to fight on three fronts.
“Tomorrow we can take the first important step, then comes the Coppa Italia.
“I can’t make comparisons with last year, but the squad is united. The Press are eating at us.
“Exaggerating things is easy, but there are stories which didn’t happen, like players on the bench mocking their teammates, which isn’t true.
“These are the things which are bad for the team. Ritiri can have a good effect, but they’re not a solution.
“The solution is work, and we’re working hard to do well in every competition.”
