Juventus striker Alessandro Matri admits that he dreamt about scoring the winning goal in last night's Derby d'Italia against Inter in Turin.
The 26-year-old struck for the third time in black and white following his arrival from Cagliari in January, looping a header up and over Julio Cesar.
Remarkably, he also played for much of the game with an injury, putting everything on the line to ensure that Juventus sealed a 1-0 victory.

"It's one of the most important goals of my career," Matri said. "The match against Inter was one of those 'beautiful' ones that I used to watch at home and dream about playing in.
"I dedicate it to my family who have always supported me. I didn't expect to start my Juventus career this way, but I certainly hoped for it because I always believed in my abilities and the understanding I have with Luca Toni is working.
"You need to work double for a big club and I will do that every day.
"I hurt my ribs. We hope that it's nothing bad. I felt a strange pain when I turned. It neither came from punches nor kicks," he concluded.
