Lazio’s team doctor reveals Antonio Candreva and Alessandro Matri are close to making a return.
The Biancocelesti have struggled with injuries in the early season, but following Lucas Biglia’s goalscoring return at the weekend, two other key figures could soon be back.
“Candreva will be available to the team from Friday, and could be called up for Sunday,” Roberto Bianchini revealed, speaking to Lazio Style Radio.

“Candreva will be available to the team from Friday, and could be called up for Sunday,” Roberto Bianchini revealed, speaking to Lazio Style Radio.
“Of course, it depends on the Coach [Stefano Pioli]. Matri will join the group tomorrow, and the same holds true for him as Candreva, though theoretically he could be available for Thursday [against Saint-Etienne]
“The Coach will decide. We’ll assess [Stefan] De Vrij and [Miroslav] Klose after the international break.
“The next break is at the right time, but Candreva, Matri and [Abdoulay] Konko will almost certainly be available for the last game before the international break.”
