“These first few months have been very positive, the player settled in well and is very happy,” agent Emiliano Salvarezza told Radio Blu.

“His objectives are to do as well as possible with Carpi and find consistency. I don’t think he has extra motivation playing against Fiorentina, as he is focused on doing what’s best for Carpi, regardless of opponents.

“Will he return to Fiorentina? It takes two to tango. Despite the fact his contract expires in 2018, we still need to hear what the Viola think.

“At the end of the season we’ll evaluate many things. I think talking about his future right now is premature.”
