Marco Materazzi is putting the finishing touches to a deal that will see him become player-Coach for Indian Super League club Chennai.
Speaking to Calciomercato.com, the former Italian World Cup winning defender confirmed that an agreement with Chennai has nearly been reached.
“Yes, it's 90 per cent done,” former Inter man Materazzi is quoted as saying. “I'm in Madrid to settle the final details.”

The 41-year-old is also reported by a number of outlets as on the verge of reaching agreement, and any move would follow in the footsteps of former Italy teammate Alessandro Del Piero, who signed with Delhi Dynamos in August.
