“Better in Rome, rather than Juve or Milan,” Materazzi told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I would have been more surprised if he had gone to Juventus.

“He would have to think a lot more about it, and for the Interisti, it would have been worse if he had gone to Milan or Juve.
“So, I think they will understand. He has done so much for Inter.”
And the defender believes Mourinho will work hard to bring Roma back to winning ways.
“In Rome, he will do everything to make everyone pull in the same direction and will be able to bring people on his side, especially when we can return to the stadiums,” Materazzi added.
“But he has a lot at stake too. For a couple of years, he has not lived up to his value. But it’s not enough to cast doubt on him. But, now he must prove that value.”
