Referee Davide Massa will likely be suspended for at least three games in Serie A, but will return to the pitch in two days in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 between Lille and Chelsea.
Last night, Massa was the VAR referee of Torino–Inter and is now in the spotlight after failing to signal a clear Andrea Ranocchia foul on Andrea Belotti (VIDEO). Both he and the pitch referee Marco Guida will reportedly face a three-match suspension, but Massa will return to the pitch this week already.

The 40-year-old had been appointed for the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 between Lille and Chelsea on Wednesday and will regularly oversee the match.
