Racing Club’s President doesn’t deny a deal could be done with Inter for Lautaro Martinez but “it depends on the will of the player”.

It was reported earlier today that the Nerazzurri have had an offer accepted for the striker, having agreed to pay €20.2m to activate his release clause.

Clarin reports the actual cost to the Beneamata will be around €26.8m, with 15 per cent going to the player, then taxes and agent fees.

“It will depend on the will of the player,” Victor Blanco told the newspaper.

“I was confident we could get more money, I said that to Rolando [Zarate, Martinez’s agent]. The lad was fundamental, he loves this club very much.”

Either today or tomorrow, Clarin reports, Racing will send the offer to Valencia, as they have a first refusal option on the 20-year-old.

However, the Spanish club are not expected to match the Inter offer.
