Thomas Vermaelen has just returned from a lengthy layoff for Roma, how does the Coach expect him to perform from now on?
"Vermaelen? I hope that his physical problems are now a thing of the past. He will definitely make an important contribution to Roma.
"He has great experience, having played at Ajax, for Arsenal and at Barcelona."
What about Axel Witsel, who is strongly linked with a €6m move to Serie A champions Juventus?
"I'd rather not get into transfer issues. What will be, will be. But Witsel is a great professional, so I'm sure he will continue to do his best for Zenit St Petersburg."
