Luiz Henrique Pompeo had suggested in an interview yesterday that the Porto striker’s future was still up in the air, but today told Calciomercato.it that a deal has been signed.
“It’s true, he’s signed a four-year deal with Atletico,” said Pompeo.

“They are a club that has been interested in Jackson for a long time and in the end they presented him with the right offer.
“We thank Milan for everything they’ve done, but the player has chosen another project.
“He thinks that the Rossoneri are a very important team, but in the end he had to make a choice and you can’t play for two different clubs.
“There was some gossip about Napoli and Roma, but never at an in-depth level. In Italy only Milan did something significant and concrete.”
