Martic stayed in hospital overnight and was released this morning, as doctors excluded further complications.
However, it will require more tests over the next few days before medics give him the all-clear to resume playing football.
Goalkeeper Francesco Benussi picked up a muscular problem during the warm-up and will have more tests tomorrow.
