According to Tuttosport newspaper, Juventus are considering Anthony Martial as a potential attacking reinforcement after seeing Felipe Anderson sign for Brazilian side Palmeiras.

The Bianconeri were expected to sign Felipe Anderson on a free transfer this summer, but the ex-West Ham winger announced on Monday night that he’d join Palmeiras instead.

Tuesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper on page three reports Juventus are now considering alternative targets, including Manchester United striker Martial, who is also available on a free transfer.

Martial is not expected to sign a new deal at Old Trafford and has also been linked with a move to Inter.

However, according to Tuttosport, there are issues the Old Lady must face, including the striker’s €6m-a-year salary, which is too high for the Bianconeri, and interest from Manchester United’s Premier League rivals Tottenham.

Juventus currently sit third in the Serie A table and have yet to mathematically secure a Champions League spot for next season.

Their next game is away at Cagliari on Friday, April 19.
