Anthony Martial is set to leave Manchester United as a free agent and has reportedly offered his services to Inter.
The Nerazzurri are on track to win their 20th Serie A title, currently 14 points clear at the top of the table, and reached the Champions League Final last season.
They have also already qualified for the 2025 Club World Cup in its new expanded format.
This all means they all need forwards, especially as Alexis Sanchez and Marko Arnautovic are by no means guaranteed to remain.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Martial has offered himself to Inter, knowing they have a limited transfer budget and have already sealed a deal with Medhi Taremi for when he leaves FC Porto in the summer.
Martial is only 28 years old and had been a huge €60m signing when joining Manchester United from Monaco in 2015.
However, he never really flourished and it is widely reported the club does not intend to use its renewal option on his contract, so it will expire on June 30.
The former France international scored two goals and provided one assist in 19 competitive games this season, but has struggled with a recurring groin injury that already scuppered a January move to Marseille, Fenerbahce or the Saudi Pro League.
In 93 Premier League appearances, Martial scored only 12 goals.
